Get ready for our Online Open Week
You may not be able to visit our campus in person at the moment, but you still have a great opportunity to learn more about studying at Perth College UHI.
Join us for our Online Open Week, Monday 23 November – Thursday 26 November, to find out about the courses open for applications in January and September 2021. There are also shorter IT programmes - ideal for those returning to employment and employees and employers looking to upskill and reskill.
Read our tips below, so that you can make the most out of our event 🤩
1. Take a look at our timetable
Have a look through our timetable, and see which areas you would like to connect with on the day. It’s a great chance to have all your questions answered, and get a feel for any courses, or broad course areas that you might be interested in.
2. Book an appointment
We have set up an easy booking form so that you can be matched with the correct area, or support staff member. Just fill in your details, and our friendly team will be in touch with you to confirm your booking slot.
3. Come prepared with questions
Make sure you write down any questions you would like to ask, in advance. It’s very easy to get caught up in the moment, and then your mind will go blank and you will forget what you wanted to ask. It’s also helpful to jot down notes as you are listening, so that you can refer back to them once the call/video has finished.
4. Don’t worry about feeling nervous, or unsure
We are used to helping answer people’s questions. If you’re unsure about something, its more than likely you’re not the only one, we completely understand it can be a difficult choice to study. If you don’t want a 1-1 appointment, why not join one of the UHI Facebook live sessions?
5. You don’t have to attend on our own
We know that our attendees like to bring people with them to our physical open days, so you are welcome to share the virtual experience with friends or family - as they might have questions that haven’t occurred to you.
6. You can chat to our Student Association to get a feel for college life
HISA Perth are holding a Facebook live Q&A, on Wednesday 25 November at 1pm, about student life at Perth College UHI. If you would like to join the session, make sure you are following their Facebook page. If you have any questions before the Q&A, please email hisa.perth@uhi.ac.uk and the team will be happy to help.
