Our Social and Vocational Studies department is filled with a specialist team of dedicated and qualified professionals, with extensive experience teaching and supporting students who benefit from additional support for their learning. Our students can expect a supportive learning environment in which to build confidence, skills for life and independence. The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has a requirement for all managers, operation managers, deputy managers, supervisors of care services, and new business residential care supervisors and deputies to have a Care Services Leadership and Management SVQ4 qualification.
