Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Natasha Coldwell, and I grew up in Whitehills, Aberdeenshire.
What course are you studying at UHI Perth, and what year are you currently in?
I recently completed the BA (Hons) Visual Communication and Design.

How did you hear about UHI Perth?
A couple of UHI Perth lecturers came up to NesCol to speak about the course.
What were you doing before you came to UHI Perth?
Before I came to UHI Perth, I completed my HNC in Visual Communication at UHI Moray and my HND in Visual Communication at NesCol Aberdeen.
Why did you decide to pick this course?
I wanted to continue my education further into Graphic Design.
What is your favourite thing about the course?
I like that you can explore different aspects of the creative industry within the course.
Has there been any standout/memorable moments from your course?
A key moment from my course would be the Graduate Showcase.
What knowledge, skills and experience have you gained from your course that will help you when you leave UHI Perth?
As part of the curriculum, in one of our modules, we entered D&AD New Blood Awards which is something I never knew about before studying here - so this is a good way for us to potentially get our name out there in the industry.
You have just successfully finished your end of year graduate showcase – ‘Visualise’ at the Creative Exchange in Perth. How did it go? What did your final project consist of?
The Graduate Showcase went great; it was a fun week of set up and a nice celebration of all our hard work throughout the year.
My final project consisted of branding, packaging and a campaign for a clean energy drink. I created three can designs along with a brand book that included how the campaign would look across billboards and social media.






Have you enjoyed studying at UHI Perth? Any highlights?
A highlight from studying here at UHI Perth is that I have met some good friends.
What are your future career plans?
I would love to be hired as a Graphic Designer working with other creatives in the industry.
